This Ad

This is an advertisement for the sports apparel company Adidas.  In this specific ad, they're show an image of a runner running so fast that he outruns his own shadow.  The message this ad is portraying is that if you buy their products, specifically their shoes, you will run so fast that not even your own shadow will be able to catch up to you.  The audience this ad would most appeal to is athletes.
The most appealing thing about this ad it it's use of humour.  The graphic designer that designed this image, made the shadow look as if it's telling the runner to slow down so it can catch up.
Overall, I think this ad is very creative and funny.  It could possibly even persuade me into buying sports apparel from Adidas for the simple fact that it's funny.

Hello English 103

My name is Bryant Linares.  I am 17 years old and I was born in Queens, New York.  I lived in New York throughout most of my childhood, until I moved to Aiken, South Carolina in 2004.  I have a 19 year old sister named Debbie.  My favorite sport is soccer, even though I am not very good a playing it.  I consider myself to be a very timid kind of person.  I don't really talk a lot to people I don't know very well.  However, once you get to know me like a friend, I won't shut up.

My plans for the future are to graduate from college in four years and to find either a good paying job to start up a family or go to grauate school.  My current major is Engineering.  I'm not sure exactly what type of Engineering I'll be going into, but it will most likely be between mechanical and electrical.
